Guys I fancy some of the carbon nukeproof bars but when I was changing the dropper position on my focus jam2 I noticed all of the steps cables are routed inside the bars. Are there specific bars for ebikes to hide the cables or am I going to have to run the cables externally if I change to some...
Oh that’s great news. Cheers for update. Mine (built in battery) has never dropped below 2 bars so far but think I will get a pack just in case I have any massive adventures next year some time

I’ve only had my bike 5 days and after 50 miles and a first proper mountain bike ride up the long mynd this morning I’m already coming to a pretty quick conclusion on it all.
Boost mode, as fun as it was messing around on cycle paths, once on a proper trail it does take a little too much away...
I’ll await pics of the minion but I may well end up with that combo. I’m used to magic Mary’s on past 2 650b bikes and found the grip almost unlimited. Quite happy to have a fast rear tyre that slides out a little (rock razor was my previous favourite) so I’m sure the factory tyre is up to the job
I’ve got a garmin edge 1000. I wasn’t paying too much attention to the speed but at the end of the ride the bike had recorded 13.5 mile and the garmin 12.5 mile. So assume speed/distance is out on bike. Not quite 10% but clearly not right (I may have mistaken how many miles the bike was on at...

Already read manual just says +5/-5 correction. So just wanted a bit more information. Assume if my speedo is over reading. Which I believe it is by 10% then I dial it -5% ? But just wanted to make sure I had it right incase I corrected the wrong way as assume this effects the assistance...
Ironically I set the same bike up tubeless last night and was the easiest setup I’ve ever done. Popped one side of bead out, pulled out tube, dropped in valve and pumped back up with track pump to 35 psi so all the bead pinged back in. Let down and applied stans through the valve stem and done...
I had the plus version delivered Tuesday. Done 45 miles so far and just had a great blast up the long mynd. Totally blown away by the value for money, finish and how much like a normal bike to looks and feels in use.
Incase you want to set it up tubeless (as I did last night) rim tape is...
Another Ebike convert from Shropshire.
38, generally class myself as fit and healthy, run a few times a week, ride a roadie, but for the past few years I’ve just not had the time or energy for mountain biking. Did the alps in 2012, loved the local rides, Hopton, east ridge, long mynd, Wrekin...
