I was really worried about sizing coming from a medium 2019 focus Jam 2 with older shorter geometry. At 5ft 10 the canyon website said a medium was good fit and I’m happy to say it’s bang on. If I’m honest it feels shorter on the saddle than my focus and once descending in the middle of the bike...
Just taken the token out of my underdog rear shock. With my sag set correctly I’m only using max 70% of the stroke so fingers crossed it opens up a bit more travel. Put it off for a while assuming I’d need to remove the shock. Took 4-5 mins max including removing and putting air back in
It has a separate battery. Mine doesn’t seem to charge as I always get a warning on the app. I don’t use the tracker and alarm. One of the fixes it states is to activate it so maybe that’s why I always get this warning ??
Well I was ready to swap these as soon as my bike arrived but they are absolutely superb. Loads of power, much more modulation than my shimanos, no noise, no issues with glazing, blown away. For reference my previous e-bikes have had 4 pot xt's and Shimano mt520 4 pots. Also ran Saints in the...
I suppose it’s dependant on how low it can be mounted, but for reference a large rapha bottle which is 240mm in height fits inside the frame so you should be ok
Don’t worry. I’m sure the issue above is an easy fix. I’ve done 115 miles on mine in 6 days and it’s easily the best bike I’ve ever ridden. I’m literally spending every minute looking forward to where I’m off the following day. I had some doubts before it arrived and I had some doubts after...
I did the online chat and was connected instantly. Sent some pics over of a few scuffs to bike and damage to bike box. Talked through options with me and gave an acceptable resolution. All done within 5 mins
A few more observations from a loop of the monkey and follow the dog at Cannock.
It’s fun everywhere, agile and super capable. Rolls over the rock gardens much better than my old 27.5 plus front wheel. Also I feels so much more confident on drop offs and anything steep and technical
I’m now...
Assume you’re unwinding from the correct side? There is what looks like an axle on both sides but the actual axle is on the brake caliper side. The other side tightens anti clockwise so trying to undo actually tightens
Side to unwind
Not this one
Well that’s put any buyers remorse to bed. Had a quick hr riding the Wrekin this evening. Bike was absolutely epic. The way it climbs blew my mind, the descent the same, the way it rolls over roots, rocks, drop offs made me feel like a much better rider than before. Much more confidence. Shocked...
Guys does anyone have any experience of going from Shimano to Bosch?
I want to set up a mode that offers similar performance to trail on my e8000. Good support at low rpm and doesn’t ramp up too much. More for cycle lane consistant pedalling.
At the moment turbo is too punchy.
Emtb is...
It replaces most of the factory ppf. There is a bit by the bottom bracket which stays. The piece that meets it saying in description start at existing factory ppf or something along those lines.
Mine arrived with a few scuffs. Invisiframe did cover them. My box wasn’t put together properly. The...
Yes it’s the Matt version. Still has a bit more Sheen than I’d like but the very Matt greyish paint was marking just from being wiped so was a worthwhile investment
Did the terribly boring invisiframe install this evening. Tubeless tomorrow and then it’s ready for an adventure on Friday. The invisiframe was very impressive. Literally everything is well protected. I’ll pay someone in future though for the install
