I replaced my Topeak clip on, under seat bag with a more simple Evoc one. The clip system droped the bag so much that I kept getting tyre buzz on it.

You can be lucky your Kiox still works. I was on holiday in Italy recently, and my wife's Kiox wouldn't turn on. (On or off the bike) Tried re-charging it. When USB was in, then it worked. I had to buy a new one. It is no longer under guarantee. It cost €215.00!!!! Ouch!

I guess my problem is that I use the Topeak Race rocket pump. One I can highly recommend, but it has the screw on valve connector. The Tubolito valves are simply too loose and come out too easily for this pump.

I got the Schwalbe Aerothan tube and it looks / feels excellent. I also got a set of Schwalbe Glueless Patches which are for the Aerothan tube. Small and light. Definitely looks like better quality than the orange Tubilito things and is about the same weight. So, I will take this as a spare...

In answer to your first question, most likely yes. I replaced the inner cable with a new one, and squirted a bit of wd40 down the cable to help lubricate it. For the second question, I would also say yes as that was what I did when I changed to the PNW 200mm dropper post.

I guess it depends on the type of riding you do. I want an Eco mode to be minimal power so I can prolong battery life for a long as possible, and maybe just even out the extra weight of the emtb over a normal bike. If I am riding 80KM and 2000m climb on a ride, I need a minimal assist to be minimal.

Haha, I was just about to make the same suggestion. A friend came around recently after being at a bike shop where they couldn't remove his tyre. I thought I was megga inventive as I used my Workmate to pinch the tyre together, Worked a treat.
