there's more than one kind of chestnut - in England "conkers" are the horse chestnut, AFAIK not edible. but we have another type that is, roast chestnuts used to be a staple early to mid winter.
Today, took my daughter (8 years) ice skating. No biggie.
But yesterday got her down Yoghurt Pots (ParkLife to old timers, still not up with these new names**) and Tredders on Holmbury Hill***. Bloody good going on her little Islabike if I say so myself.
** the proper name for Barry Knows Best...
you can do an awful lot on a 500Wh battery if you're not a super heavy person and are willing to work a little.
I weigh 80kg dressed to ride and get 1000m vertical from 500Wh, on turbo full gas so not dawdlling, with me working too.
turn it down - but still climbing quicker or easier than a...
I think front is much nicer for the kid, they can see where they're going and get a cuddle at the same time. Some car drivers may cut you some slack if they see a kid too, tho most don't give a **** you're still fair game.
Behind you all they see is your back.
1 is pretty young for a bike seat no?
I used to use one of the cheap bolt on ones on an old hardtail, sitting in front of me so she could see and we could talk. But it wasn't easily removable.
She's now 8 and she jumps up on the Levo, sits on the top tube, hands on inner bars, and rests feet...
me. if I'm riding with my buddies on their clockwork I ride turned off or with as little power as I need. it's good training. and helps get rid of the fabled "range anxiety".
it's just a bike. you don't need to be Hercules to ride it turned off on flats and easier gradients.
though when I'm on...
yeah 3000m or more is totally feasible if the rider is willing to put some work in.
so the '18 Levo doesn't have a 'no-assist' mode without turning the bike off? that would be annoying.
I think they're just a guide.
In skiing, grades are relevant to the resort, so a black would be the hardest in the resort, but maybe a red elsewhere. It's largely for marketing. (You'll notice for instance every restaurant is accessible by a blue, regardless of how the trails actually are).

it's nothing like the buzz from a good blast, it feels tough, but if the pedallers are climbing at 4mph and you're climbing at 4.5 the difference soon shows.
when I'm out with my clockwork group I like to challenge myself to use as little battery as possible. it's a good game.
I find even on Eco at 5% my Levo's faster climbing than me on analogue. 10% benchmarked against my friends I ride with is a significant benefit, even in pace or effort (not both haha).
OP you can put a tube in - you'll need to take out the tubeless valve to make space for the tube's valve. make sure you run your fingers around the inside of the tyre (with your gloves on) to try and find what caused the flat, if it's not obvious.
if your tyre is slashed you might want to put a...
