Heard back from the LBS yesterday. New motor on the way. 5300 hilly kilometres with a 115-120kg rider on top and bearings on the way out. only had a couple of months warranty left so very happy with this result.

Focus are going to run with both bikes: Shimano Motor - shorter more playfull Tec Pack compatible. Bosch Motor - slightly heavier and longer not Tec pack compatible.

It does look interesting but a bit of a shame about the small front chain ring. That's gonna wear out fast and need replacing quite often.

I wonder how many people as part of their purchasing decision for a Decoy, factored in the widely advertised (by YT) "soon" to be released 700wh battery with special price for existing owners. I reckon a lot of those owners must be getting pretty impatient waiting for the promised 700wh battery...
