The Trek Denver Downtown store had an EXE 9.7 orange. Good looking bike. Smooth riding (in the parking lot) Motor made zero noise--at least couldn't hear it above the city sounds. Obviously couldn't tell about power but clearly not the initial acceleration of my Rise. With taking a look if...
Trek should send out the carbon crank to replace the alloy crank on bikes that have already been delivered. That is what Orbea did. Oh wait, it’s been six months and still no crank from Orbea.
My
ever bought, so far. good to hear that it’s working out.
I was considering it but traded my Levi for a rise. Glad I did. Might consider a cyon or shuttle sl
I agree, that if you are expecting an enduro SL at sub 40 you wil be disappointed.
I just want a trail/all mountain. 140/140. I think that is doable.
I do agree that you should not compromise tires and rims like Orbea did on the Ltd--That said, the LtD that does provide a very low weight...
They might not have to give a lengthy warranty since they anticipate high demand and limited supply so they can sell them regardless. And at top price. Specialized only extended their warranty on the Brose motor after they were forced to by so many failures.
Strange. That motor looks like the Eon motor Forestal uses—and now Forestal is calling it the F60-S1 motor, previously known as EonDrive. On the Forestal owners page I have not seen complaints about the motor as much as failures of the software/dashboard.
IMO 42 to 46 would not be super light! SL should be < 38. It could be that you should not expect a SL enduro until there is upgraded battery technology. I have a carbon Rise and am satisfied that it is a light trail/all mountain SL at 38 ponds without the extender. I am hoping the Pivot...
I have an ltd. I went up 3300 vertical in 10 miles in 1 hour in mostly boost and it used 3 out of five bars. Then went down in Eco/trail and ended up with the same. 2 bars left. I would only use the range extender for rides that were long and if the last past of the ride was uphill 9to avoid...
I bought a carbon Rise and then sold my Turbo Levo v .2. The levo was one generation old and still under the extended warranty and so I got a good price for it. My current thinking is to upgrade bikes while the bike I’m selling still has decent value. I believe that is less of an issue with...
