Me too. I am thinking of going from my Rise to either the Shuttle Sl or the Fuel EXe or the (imaginary) new Levo SL If they increased the power. I like the Fuel with the TQ except that it is slightly less power than the Shuttle SL with the Fazua.

Trek os really charging too much for that==consider that to upgrade paint on a car is only about $600.

Once you have a spare, it will never break!

If it is an inexpensive part, it pays to buy an extra to keep on hand--it does seem to be fairly fragile for a MTB.

That’s a nice color. I saw the Mulsanne Blue indoors. It was deeper and richer than the hex. Like the picture you posted but maybe deeper.

The lighter bikes are easier to handle on single track and more fun on technical trails. So it depends on what kind of ridding you do.

That is what it looked like re: the specs. I just wanted a real world comparison. I agree with you about the EP8. Trek would only let the TQ tested out in the parking lot so not much of an experience--but it was totally quiet and smoother. I don't want full power but I just don't want less...
