I'll let you know, when I beat the hell out of this bike, and it shits the bed. Hasn't happened yet, but I admit, its new still. Its not though, everything I've ever bought from Alibaba has shit the bed within a year or two.

They are very likely to have highest battery consumption/gram also, not very cool.because they are putting out the most watts / gram at the moment, Its pretty cool.
Interesting comment.Considering that especially after the DJI motor release(and even before) batteries are clearly they heaviest part of an e-bike(more than 1kg heavier than the motor at 800wh currently), innovation in that department is very important in getting the total weight lower while still having very high performance. I understand that some newer gen batteries are slowly becoming commercially available, but not sure when we can see them in ebikes(or even cars). So do you mean that besides there initial battery the bike will be released with(which. I guess should be pretty high tech), there will be a bigger one(probably with even newer tech) coming later? Also what about the smaller battery, there will be an option or you mean you don't know?Bit of an update, I am meeting with the guys again from Specialized in Europe (NL) on the 27th Feb. This time they are coming to see me so no trip to their HQ (like December when i got to see the new Levo) but i will see what i can find out that i can share I have an invite to the Official launch. It looks like most of the specs have come out now any way so well done with the guessing, they never mentioned the smaller battery when i visited they did however mention a larger one that's coming in the future!
Man that must have been an amazing tour!! Thanks for the info and explanation, very interesting a 1.2kw battery with current 200wh/kg packages would be around 6kg... they must have something significantly more dense to go that far!!Anyway exciting times with battery innovation. Regarding the motor, 95 plus makes sense, and I can see a stronger sworks making its price more attractive(although I don't think I would go that far for a bike). I think they are going with Brose again (although an all-new mahle would be equally exciting to see), it makes more sense. But to be honest with he peak3 motor claiming 2.9kg and 95nm released 2 years ago, I am hoping they are going for a significantly upgraded 2nd version of this motor at least(if not a whole new version). To be fair I can understand having less power than DJI, high energy consumption, reliabilty and even being caught up by surprise can all play into it, but accepting to loose 400gr simply by having a heavier motor, especially in an sworks which is known for being the lightest in its category would be a huge miss which I don't think they would be willing to accept. Anyway I have to be patient, till we get to see what they actually releaseWhen I was with them at the HQ we did a tour not just the new levo but also the racing division, this was super cool, and the development workshop. When I asked about the battery and motor and the told me it’s 8xxwh I was like wow that’s cool especially since it looked way smaller then the 700wh old battery then he said there working on 1kw and also 1.2kw. I think cell tech must be moving on also don’t forget this is could be for other e bikes as well not just the EMTB’s. However they never mentioned 600wh batteries and also what they said about the motor power now makes sense with the other rumours on this thread, they told me the power was 95 plus, I didn’t understand that comment at the time but now I think it makes sense that the different versions have the same motor but different power levels, if other comments are correct just a guess on my part.
Hi everyone
Just a question and don’t sacrifice me if I sound stupid ,all the power in the world and an average bike ( geometry breaks suspension) really doesn’t help if you can’t transfer it to the ground , all the threads I’ve read about top ebikes for 2023 2024 and the majority of 2025 with all the new bikes been dropped end last year and coming out now , The Gen 3 Turbo Levo is still in the top 5 and yes that includes the Dronie Bonie , so stands to reason if Specialized has (and i truly believe they do ) updated the gen 4 to a new level no matter what the other manufacturers have this will stand the test of time for the next cycle (3years ) and we will all be in for really decent top 5ver or better
I don’t think Brose has released the peak3 yet. It was unveiled ages ago but not released. Will only release later the year I believe.Man that must have been an amazing tour!! Also saw that but Spesh probably took the Brose changed housing to suite the stumpy framework also for heat and noise reduction fiddled with the software to get the gains they want and booof Gen4 moto ready for actionI don’t think Brose has released the peak3 yet. Same here... they certainly put some kind of steam engines in the G4 frame a few weeks ago to keep the press camp/release going in Madeira....I don’t think Brose has released the peak3 yet. It was unveiled ages ago but not released. Will only release later the year I believe.
and also think a beeeeg ask Is to keep the S-Works stickers or Specialized to a bare minimum again as seen on the 2025 epic 8 evo and stumpy 15 only sticker is on Top tube very down toned and on the seat tube at the back
Wondering how much this Levo 4 delay has cost Specialized? This whole thing (albeit maybe Amflow threw a monkey wrench into this) has been nothing short of a disaster for sales. How many have chosen another brand and maybe loving the new Bosch motor and have converted and loyal to a new brand... I actually love my gen 3 sworks with the Cascade link, so I'm perfectly happy, but Geez, this has not been managed well at all!

Unless we have the sales data, we don’t know, but I’m guessing Specialized do.
Can't find any better offer than 40% discount on S-Works can you?The discounts on offer seem no better than many other e-bike brands too..

I was more thinking about the top level bikes not medium and low even though Specialized has big discounts on them as well but all the discounts are different from country to country and in length.A few on here, just for starters?

I don’t think the S-Works is typical of Specialized discounts, given the RRPs, but maybe/hopefully they’ll do something when the Gen 4 finally drops.
Think I'll wait for at least 1.6kWh battery......
"Stranded: The 800Wh Betrayal"
Dave had one goal: conquer the trails. With his brand-new Amflow and a beefy 800Wh battery, he was ready to leave his mortal legs behind and embrace pure, electrified dominance over nature.
“This baby can do at least 30 miles of rugged terrain,” he told his buddies, who were already questioning his life choices.
The Ascent of Overconfidence
The ride started beautifully. Turbo mode engaged. Rocks? Irrelevant. Steep inclines? Child’s play. He blasted past struggling hikers, throwing out a casual “should’ve brought an eBike, losers” as he zoomed by.
By mile five, he felt like a god.
By mile ten, he was unstoppable.
By mile twelve, the battery was at 14%.
Huh.
He squinted at the display, which now read: “Hope you trained for this.”
The Descent into Suffering
At mile thirteen, Turbo mode died.
At mile fourteen, Eco mode gave up.
At mile fifteen, Dave was left with nothing but a 48lb deadweight of shame between his legs and a six-mile uphill slog back to civilization.
The hikers he had mocked earlier passed him, offering pitying glances and granola bars. Somewhere in the distance, a crow cawed—probably laughing.
The Aftermath
By the time he made it back to the trailhead, his soul had left his body. His legs were ruined, his pride was shattered, and the only thing more dead than his battery was his spirit.
As he collapsed next to his car, he stared at his Amflow and whispered the only words that made sense:
“You left me for dead.”
I was hovering on the report this comment button….Late summer/fall for the Gen 4. Source trust me bro.
