It appears Yamaha have informed their US dealers that they are withdrawing from the emtb market at the end of 2024. There is no information about their activities in other international markets or indeed their supply of motors to brands like Giant and Haibike.

Saw that on MBR.

Would certainly explain the liquidation of all the stock.

Thanks for the information. I purchased a Moro 07 about 3 weeks ago and it should be shipped soon. I trust Yamaha will be honoring the included 5-year warranty and the promised extra battery. Fly Rides has sold all of their stock. Another bike seller is selling the bike at an increased price plus shipping.

All the articles I have read state that the 5 year warranty, servicing and parts availability will remain unaffected.

A couple months ago I was chatting with a young guy and his wife on a trail. He had just taken a job with Yamaha as an ebike sales rep. It seems, at the time, that they were planning on expanding their market reach. Guess that didn’t last long. I feel bad for the guy now as he’s probably out of a job.
