Hi folks, I recently fitted XO T-type to my bike and went out for a 9 mile ride. All seemed OK, but I wasn't sure if it was a bit loud when pedalling or if it was normal.
I've not really paid attention to drivetrain noise before and also it's my first ebike.
Today I decided to have a play with the micro adjust to see if that would make any difference, but ultimately ended up putting it back to the default setting (9).
The smallest cog is quite noisy for me, but the only way to make it quiet is to micro adjust all the way down to 1. Of course, micro adjust is universal, so that puts all the other gears out of whack.
I recorded pedalling with the bike upside down on the smallest cog and another video of another cog. Do both seem normal?
Shifting seems fine, it's just in gear noise that I'm unsure about.
Shame you can't micro adjust the gears individually, as then I could make that smallest cog much quieter.
