Would it be possible to convert from the Brose system to a Bosche in the Prodigy v2?

I just bought a prodigy v2 and the bike has a few shortcomings that I can't get past, that appears to be supported by Bosche.

Specifically I hate the fact that I can't disable the lights.
More importantly I can't seem to find any documentation for the motor in the bicycle.

Moving a Bosche would allow me to makes changes moving forward.

Thanks.

OK ....

No 1. This is a mountain bike forum, that's not a mountain bike - whilst some components might be similar, you won't find many people with the same bike - so don't expect many answers.

No 2. No you can't swap motors/batteries/systems - they're completely different and totally incompatible in everyway.

No 3. It's Bosch.

No 4. I'm pretty sure it will do everything you actually need it to do, plus it's quiet, efficient and fast and gets good reviews for that type of bike.

No 5. You can normally turn the lights on and off with something like a long press on + or one of the other functions.

No 6. You should be able to find documentation pretty easily by searching on the internet, both for the motor and how to use the controller included with the bike - even if you just do comparisons on how the display looks if you can't find the numbers.
