March 6th. The Kado, full power carbon 160👍
That will be the coundown on thier website then, any more info? i am looking at getting a full power bike with my short list being between Whyte 160/180 and Trek Rail+. I want to buy from my LBS and ideally go with Bosch as i am hopeful it will be more reliable than the specialized bikes i have had.

A lot of similarities to the E-Lyte - I like it, if true they have moved away from the upwardly rotated motor design, which says to me smaller battery and extender - a bit like the Santa Cruz Vala?

I was hoping they would have copied M1 bikes and went modular give customer the choice of sx or CX motor and 400,600,800 or +range extender in the same frame
It's the future for sure

I think the SX motor will disappear from eMTB in the next couple of years (if not sooner) I'm guessing you can put either 600 or 800 in the same frame (possibly only the carbon version), you can add the extender, and you have the option of full aluminium, full carbon or carbon frame with aluminium rear triangle, plus geo chips.... That quite a lot of choice, and I'd probably defer to the mechanical engineers who designed the bike to make all the details work, and if you don't like how it rides or it doesn't suit your riding, buy something different.

Good spec everything i would want on the RSX,
Not sure on the side ways piggy back shock, surely this could go with piggy back front bottom?

This is something that Merida have done on the new eOne-Sixty.
I wonder if it could get hooked up on particularly baggy shorts, but overall, I prefer the look of the piggyback rotated towards the bottom - just an aesthetic thing for me.

I have the 2024 E160 RSX so looked at the Kado RSX to see what if anything would make me want one!! From a financial point of view there is not enough to try swopping my existing bike although I like some of the differences.

The battery removal/connection system is novel and also shades of previous/ pre Bosch Rail clamp Whyte bikes with the battery to cables connection at the bottom of the battery rather than at the top. Some of the kit is not quite as good......DT Swiss Hybrid 1900 as opposed to Hybrid 1700 on my bike.......but thats minor. Of course the big change is the newer Bosch remote/controller set up together with the new Bosch batteries and modified CX motor...........and of course the rumoured future release of software upgrades in term of motor torque. As far as those go, I am not sure a 600 battery is enough, and 800 probably too much given I never use more than 60% of my 750w/h ( I could be wrong!) Personally dont like top tube mounted controllers and I think I am right in thinking it only gives off on control and a difficult to read battery capacity. As far as the motor is concerned, i do not suffer the rattle that some seem to get, and its performance is flawless and plenty powerful enough so not excited by rumours of more torque.

PS I also prefer ally to carbon for any MTB!!

I suppose credit to the E160 RSX ( and Whyte), I dont find anything lacking with my bike so not a lot there to persuade me to buy a Kado.

Overall I am still more interested in the E Lyte Evo (when the price comes down!!) as a more trail oriented buddy to E160 RSX which I use for more Enduro type riding.
