Levo Gen 2 Why does the Levo turn itself on when I'm cleaning the chain ?

Levo manual says to turn off/ disconnect the battery before doing any maintenance on the bike.

I wasn't doing any maintenance. I was rolling my bike out the door on the rear wheel. When I drop the front wheel, the bike turns itself on.

I received this email that included a video about washing your e-bike and it specifically mentions this motor power up. It's around 1:50. I'm actually surprised an official video shows using an allen/hex key to assist in rotating the chain backward. I figured that was just a common, unsupported hack.
