Which wireless earbuds do you use?

I'm after a new set of wireless air buds.

Currently using Google buds 2. Id like something that doesn't fall out when cycling and wind noise cancelling if possible.

What do you use?

There not exactly noise cancelling, but that's what I like about them. I like to be able to hear what's going on around me.

I've had 2 sets over the past 5-6 years and love them.

I have the Elite 10. Brilliant buds.

The pass through mode is fantastic for when you need to hear surrounding noise and conversation. The the Noise Reduction Mode when you don't. And you can program the buttons to change modes in an instant.

Wireless charging is great when you are in the car.

Actual buttons, rather than capacitive touch, means you can adjust them in your ear, without accidently triggering something.

I think they have the best Bass reproduction I've ever heard in a wireless bud. Music sounds fantastic on them.

I just use AirPods Pro, but specifically put them into the “transparency” mode whenever I ride so I can hear stuff around me. I never feel quite safe with noise canceling on even though I’m never really on the road much.

Powerbeats Pro. They stay in place through anything and everything (wrap around the ear). Great sound. Can be a little finicky to charge.

I've got some Huawei ones that cost about 100 then bought a rubber strap on ebay so if one falls out I'm still wearing it around the back of my neck.

but they only work if the earbuds have a little stick like bit coming out of them, as that's what the strap attaches too

Look for air pod hooks / lanyard on amazon. Been using them for years. Never had one fall out.

Sony WF-1000XM5 - they fit my ears nicely, thanks to that passive noise cancelling is better than with others.

Galaxy Buds Pro..
In ear buds ...took me a while to figure out how to stop them falling out of my ears which can easily happen unless after inserting them you forget to turn them counter clockwise ..which then makes them pretty secure ..
I hardly use them on the bike as solo rides are rare these days ..and only if I also cover my ears with a buff ..
With ambient sound & active noise cancelling controlled from my phone they pretty much fit the bill

Airpod 4 ANC and they fits very well in my ear. I have earlier tried other pods but they didn't fit my ears properly.
I don't use them very often because I think they pose a danger in terms of concentration and perception of what's going on around me.

I recently purchased the AirPod Pro and use them everyday …but not while I’m riding. The hook-thingy might help me change my mind.

I generally ride solo so I want to hear any warning noise’s on the trails. That’s one of those senses that I rely on, but I still get startled by a hiker, trail dog, crazy squirrel etc.

Apparently these AirPods will act as a hearing aid also …I’ll probably have to upgrade to the iPhone 16 to get that feature. Those ear hooks look interesting.

The standard silicone tips on the pros fell out when I was on climbs or sweaty. Best thing I have got for my pro's was comply tips. Memory foam tips that replace the factory silicone. Like a ear plug you squish it then insert it into the ear canal and it expands holding it in there. Brilliant product and soooo comfortable.

Don't need buds, can stream directly from my phone (Samsung Galaxy S23) to my hearing aids (Oticon More 1). But don't when riding, find it's a distraction. YMMV.

Mine were constantly falling out even while walking. Since I started using these hooks they have never fallen out once even on rocky descents.
And you can still use the controls and volume pad.

I ordered a second set just for backup.
For the price of air bud pros it’s a no brainer

There are sets that have holes in them for a tether so there is less risk of loosing them.
