Going for a Focus Jam2 and have 2 choices

2019 Low mileage Shimano 6.7 £2,200 quit’s a lot lower spec, recon forks etc
Brand new Bosch 2022 6.9 through cycle to work so it’ll cost me 3k Over 12 months Fox 36, XT gears etc

The new one all day long. Bang up to date frame, motor & geometry. The Bosch is also more powerful.

Assign each bike to either side of a coin.
Promise yourself that you will buy whichever bike the coin toss indicates.
Toss coin (no cheating).
Look at the result and ask yourself "Am I pleased?"

If not, buy the other one!

I would buy the new one, it isi not that much more expensive and you will soon forget the cost difference.

Just bought a Jam2. 6.8.
Looked at used but got new, with used i would have to factor in potential shock service, chain, software updates, brakes etc. With new you also have warranty back up.

All good points, I've just put the deposit down on a new Jam2 6.9, all very exciting!
