Managed to convince my lad and his mate to celebrate finishing their GCSEs by coming away with me to Madeira rather than going to Reading Festival getting drunk etc as is the tradition.

All being well I'm going to Spain in the van in May (I love Spain) 4/5 weeks going where the mood takes us riding bikes and drinking beer.

If you come around the Valencia area give me a shout, I can show you some epic trails. I'm north of Valencia with the Sierra Calderona trails all around me.

Only got about 10 weeks to go and off to Derby in Tasmania, cant wait. After riding a shimano powered bike for the last 3 years have hired a Bosch powered Trek 9 so really hanging out to try the auto emtb mode on it to see what all the rave is about. Got 4 days there and by all accounts its a must do place on the bucket list, just have to hope that the Weather God smiles upon us.
