I think it shows the power a big dealer network and having loan bikes , not being rude about specialised but people often never compare or even get a chance to ride anything else

Yeah, the number of new members who start with "Hi, new Levo owner here" show how well Spesh have got the market sewn up.

Nope. I was on a Cube Stereo Pro with a Bosch Performance CX motor with a Speedbox delimiter, and the Shimano power delivery is smoother than the Bosch, more gentle. The delimiter on the Bosch did not affect the initial power delivery.

The only characteristic that the Shimano Steps 8000 has that the Bosch does not is a little bit of overrun............I'll try and explain...

Climbing a steep rooty rocky trail is tricky as we all know. The challenge for me has been timing my pedalling to pause with the pedals flat so I can roll over some high spots (rocks for example) and avoid a pedal strike. The overrun on the Shimano is an added bonus as it continues to provide power to the wheel for a split second (like less than half a second) and helps you get over the obstacle. I quite like that feature

Nice feature indeed but I thought Bosch also had this in their system.
