Tubeless Presta valves vs Schrader valve (with inserts)

Hello friends,

I don't find Presta valves practical at all, especially for inflating, but also for reading tire pressure.

What would you recommend as a tubeless Schrader valve with the option of putting my inserts, I can't find much in specialized stores..

Thanks 🍻

Just switch your presta cores for Schwalbe Click Valve cores. I've been amazed how quick and easy these are.
Just pull the cap off and press on the gauge or pump. Instant secure connection. When you are done just pull off the pump and pop the cap back on. Done.
I don't think I would try putting sealant through them (though Schwalbe claim they are fine with this) but that is a rare occurrence compared to checking pressure and topping up and no different to Presta or Schrader.

Try a Muc-Off Big Bore tubeless valve. They are the same internal diameter as the Presta fitting with the valve core removed. If you want to get rid of Presta completely, you can buy the hybrid version. It still fits in the Presta valve sized hole in the rim, but it has a Schrader valve top. Still Presta diameter down the middle. If you are OK with drilling out the rims, you can go the full Schrader from Muc-Off.
They offer three different tubeless valve lengths. Make sure that you get the correct one. I emailed Muc-Off with the rim spec and they replied overnight with the valve length.
I recently became aware that some people use the valve stem to hold an item (unsure what). Take that into account if you are one of those people.

Considered Big Bore Lite because I could then continue using my pump which has a Presta head adapter.

(the motor magnet is mounted on the rotor bolts).

To my shame, I didn't know that my mini-pump could be easily converted from Presta to Schrader by swapping round a rubber widget in the head. I had lent my pump to a stranded rider and he just swapped over the widget and he was good to go. Every day is a learning day! :)

My Oneup EDC mini pump is the same, but not the track pump used every time before I/we go out and when fitting tyres (it's Presta only).
