temp dropped down to 20 Northern England today, finally got out on the E-MTB after 3 weeks of being a roadie and It was a blast I really wish I could do it more often
I don't really like it when It's super hot in summer, all out trails just get really loose and start to fall to bits. berms quite often just give way . we're used to mud, the moisture is what holds all the trails together
also, it's just too hot to put all my MTB gear on and go slowly up a climb getting baked in the sun. on the road bike I wear lycra and average 27-28km/hr and that keeps you cool. plus I pass cafes all the time that sell ice cream and cold drinks
