Myskovon. - Also when you have connected the Acid handlebar Kiox mount can you post photos and give feedback. As I am interested in moving Kiox display too

Fitted the new bracket for the Kiox. Looks a bit better but still quite a bulky display to integrate nicely. It’s already got a chip in the corner of the screen too, not sure what longevity it will have. Does anyone know how easy it is to swap it out for the Purion display? Almost positive at some point I will set off for a ride without the Kiox and not be able to turn the bike on ?‍♂️?

Hey Myskovon, thanks for posting. Looks a little more protected. Sorry don't have any experience in swapping to Purion.

I came off on the weekend,o ver the handlebars and slid down the hill. Bike a little scratched but all OK. The Kiox also came away (lucky as the dealer had screwed it on and I only removed a few days earlier to just use the magnet) I picked up my bike and rode away but didn't realize until i hit the next incline that there was no support from motor and the Kiox was not there. Had to hike back up the hill and being black was hard to find.

Made me think to attached a back-up and tie off around handle bars, like a leg rope in surfing. Has anyone done anything similar?

Took the jam2 Bosch for its first ride today (finally over my man flu thank god).

Set up with 27.5 wheels in low mode with 170mm fork.

Very very impressed with it. Motor is nice and powerful, definitely feels more powerful than the shimano and about the same as the brose mk2. I was pleasantly surprised by the noise levels, not as bad as reviews say and I think quieter than the shimano.

Bike handled really well. Snappy in corners, jumped well. Brakes were plenty adequate.

I can understand what reviewers say about lack of support when things get rowdy, but its not as bad as they make out. Its probably just down to the fact the shock has no compression settings on it at all, not even a lockout. I think I’ll swap the shock out and then it will be perfect.

For £3.3k I don’t think you can get a better ebike.

Its certainly rides a lot better than the Canyon Spectral 6.0 and I prefer it to the YT Decoy which are its nearest price point competitors. View attachment 26907
Are you sure about the compression setting ? I just assumed that that was what the red ring was for ? I still need to set mine up properly. ?

Very sure. 6.7 has rebound only.

I’ve swapped out to a 2020 Factory DPS evol shock. It rides soooo much better.

Anyone who is on the fence between the 6.7 and 6.8, the 6.8 is well worth the extra money imo.

Anyone with the 2020 6.8 bosch, can you share the 4 digit tune code off the fox performance shock?

I want to see how close my custom tune is to stock. Many thanks.

Thanks, so my shock is exactly the same tune, except has a 0.4 spacer in it instead of a 0.2 of the stock focus.

If they tuned the monarch the same, then this would explain why my new fox shock feels more progressive and supportive. For a £8 mod, its well worth trying out.

Fitting a 210mm dropper and new bars tomorrow, then I will take another photo and give a latest ride report as the only thing left stock is the group set and brakes pretty much!

Few more bits done. Rerouted the wires so they can’t be seen or snagged on anything. Had a Hope headset and top cap fitted. And gone tubeless with my new wheels, using gorilla tape and muc off valves. Adjusted the power levels again to see what range i get

So I did my first test to try run the battery flat on the 2020 bosch.

I managed 24 miles and 1000m of climbing and still had 20% batterly left - 80% of this was in boost and 20% in emtb!!!!

All shimano, brose and rocky mountain bikes I’vr tested or had in the past have managed this if on eco to trail eqivalent modes.

Once the lockdown is finishedd I cant wait to see what I can get out of it on eco/trail settings only

for an ebike I don’t think you need the range and thin components of 12 speed, I’d go 10 or 11 speed

Finished tweaking my new Large Jam2/6.7 with parts I already had (took off my old bikes)

E13 27.5 carbon wheelset.

Flip chip in low/short position reducing chainstays to 427 and wheelbase to 1225mm

Some proper tires - Minion DHF 2.5 front and 2.3 rear
Raceface 800mm sixc carbon bars & 45mm funn stem

Fox 36 (set at 170mm, 15mm longer (under sag) to match the 15mm higher position of the frame on the rear wheel. Fox 34 just a bit too flexy for a weighty bike like this.

Invisiframed the rear triangle, battery and underbelly (no kit available so just used old left over bits from other kits)

Got a better shock to put on it too, but want to ride it with the stock shock first. Need a 200mm dropper post and a mud guard!

Got manflu at mo, hopefully take it out for first proper ride tomorrow. Very impressed with the power of the new bosch - feels way more torquey than the shimano up and down the road.
Hi there what rear shock are you going to fit ? Do you think there is room for one with a piggy back on it ? Fox dpx2 maybe
