Has anyone put a 170mm fork on their Levo from the stock 150mm? I'm thinking about it and I'm wondering how much this changes the geometry and if this is a good thing...? Currently I have the Lyrik
I didn't know that. thanks. I wonder why?I hope you know you will loose frame warranty if you go to 170, 160mm is max. allowed for this frame...
cool. can you describe the change to geometry? It's fine. A lot of Levo owners including myself have done it and the 2021that has the same frame comes with 160mm.
Just replace the air shaft. It's not expensive and you can go to the latest debon air version.
Yes, I switched to the Fox 38 170, it's way better. Feels more stable and it helps with confidence on nasty terrain. I spent $800 on the new fork and I do not regret it. Geometry-wise I noticed zero difference, is there some? sure...but I can't tell.Hey Jet! Did you do it (the switch)? How did it feel?
I live E. Bay but I drive all over, I don't think it's a big deal to get in the car and explore new stuff. you? Thanks for the update, Jet. I have a Trance so it's a bit different but I'm bumping up from 160 to 170mm (also changing my shock stroke so I'm close to 147mm of rear travel).
Hey, you're on MTBR too right? Where do you ride in the Bay?
Adam? LOL!I ran my Lyrik at 170 on my medium size SL, BB height went up a bunch (353 ish with 2.5 Maxxis front and rear) and the HA dropped to a tick over 65deg. Aside from the BB height I loved it.
going to drop it to 160 soon. BB height feels a little awkward on this bike for some reason. Also going with a 44offset fork grab me back those 2mm of wheelbase
