Hi, my wife bike is a 2019 Specialized turbo como 4.0. We have a problem with the battery - SBC B10 504 Wh 36V.
How it happened:
1.0 While removing the battery I mistook the lock for the charging port. When I put the key in the port there was a small spark. After that the bike worked normally. No problems. The battery ran low and I decided to charge it.
First problem:
2.0 I plugged in the charger and it would not charge. I put it back on the bike and did a test via the app. The battery gave an error with one of the cells, but wrote out that it might cause a lower mileage. Again, everything worked except the charging. I left the battery disconnected and removed from the bike for a few hours.
Second problem:
2.1 After few hours...... i try to turn the bike on. It didn't respond. No light or indicator are working. The battery is totally dead.
What I did:
3.0. I disassembled the battery, measured the voltage of all the cells. And found that all cells were working. The voltage is 36 volts with each cell having between 3.4 and 3.6 volts. I took the battery to a friend. He works for microsatellite manufacturing company and is a circuit board professional. He measured everything, no problem with the circuit board. All fuses work.
Suggestion:
We think that for some reason the BMS has disconnected the battery and we can't start it back.
Question:
Is it possible to reinstall the software? Why is the battery is after short circuit working and few hour later not any more?
Does anyone have experience with a similar situation?
Thanks!
