I’d say do it, the extra range is nice and let’s you feel much better on long rides. The wife and I have done multiple 50+ mile rides now and love having the extra juice to explore. I really wanted the bigger battery when I was initially looking at the bikes, but for what the comp version cost (2k more), I got the base Turbo Levo and added the second 700wh battery for almost 1k cheaper and now have two batteries. I plan on doing a 60-100mi trip and bringing the second battery with me in a backpacking pack. Having a second battery has multiple benefits, so I’d say do it.
