Having designed a new module to test on shimano motor/ battery systems in January, it was time to test the EP8 on the Canyon Spectral ON.
1st charge out the box for the 630wh shimano battery and a 252wh booster.
Boost mode only and STunlocker ?
Returned with 3% battery left.

Boost mode and my fastest 40km ride yet. Returning with 19% on the 630wh shimano battery.

If that works with the EP8, what would be your opinion on the E8000?
And maybe an off topic question, what are you using to get your Power measured?

The module will work with e8000 aswell.
I’m bringing 378wh and 252wh kits to the tec pack compatible models by summer.
I don’t follow your power question?

I mean what type of powermeter you are using? I just saw that in your screenshot it shows avg. power.
I’m not concerned about power readings but that’s strava averaging out power.
Now that I’ve fitted the 378wh pack, hoping to do a fast 40km today to test the range variables on the same route etc.

Is that early or late summer? Also, if you don't mind me asking, are the prices going to be similar to the current Levo range?
Thanks.

I honestly can’t say due to recent supply costs increasing dramatically due to brexit and Covid taxes etc
Will almost push me to a Kickstarter type launch just to get ball rolling. I can’t self fund this next evolution.

I've backed three Kickstarter/Indiegogo projects so I'd be happy with that, especially if there's a bargain to be had :D

l assume you are in "boost" mode all the time for test purposes?
l never use "boost" mode on my E8000
"Trail" mode on medium is all l need.
