Screenless ep8 (pretty sure I’ve figured it out but thought I’ll ask anyway to be sure)

So I got a Garmin 840 and linked it to the steps system no issue. Question is I know I can now eliminate the screen with the en100 (or whatever the Bluetooth junction box is) but if doing so does that now mean I can not switch profiles or reset distance without connecting the phone and using the app? I’m fairly certain that’s a yes since there’s no way to access the menu screen with the switch and the Garmin doesn’t display the menu screen but thought I’d ask. Would love to just be able to control it all from the switch and see what’s happening with the Garmin screen so I only need one computer.

Ok but what does that do? How do you switch profiles once the screen is gone? Reset distance? Do you have to use the phone app?

I have this switch STEPS SW-EN600-L Switch Unit left 35mm/31.8mm

Ok so is there a way to change profiles 1-2 and reset the distance using that switch?
