Sc-em800 compatibilty

Can the new sc-em800 screen replace an sc-e8000 (with adaptation of the sd50 to sd300 cables with adapter). Has anyone done it? If so, is it plug and play? Thanks.

Normally yes, beside the smaller cable (SD300).
Which motor do you have? EP8xxx schould work fine.

I change display on a Canyon with EP8.
