SC bullit x2 230x65?

Stock is 230x62.5 and I can get my hands on a 230x65.. any foreseeable issues with the extra travel?

I believe you can reduce the stroke on the shock by adding a 2.5mm spacer. Not guaranteed, but pretty sure.

You need this FOX 233-00-461 Spacer: (T) 2021 DHX2, Travel, Ø.375 Shaft, 2,5mm

So I tested the clearance limits with the 230x65 today and it's it's no go. The linkage bottoms out , tyre clearance leaves 7mm and the BB is noticeable lower too.

I called SC in the states, they instantly said its a no go because of linkage and all warranty would be void if used.

Booked it it for a 2.5mm reduction, nice 5 week wait .. yay!

I haven't had any issues running a 65mm stroke shock, and that's with a beefy rear tire and a single offset bushing on the shock.

anyone try a DHX2 at 65mm? The screws are eff'ed to change the travel on mine and changing it will be a huge prob so thinking about running it at 65mm.

My bike is a large size, so if anyone has tried, let me know please.

Take the coil off and fully compress it to see for yourself, but I haven't had any issues with running a number of shocks at 65mm.

I tried, and it looks okay... But hard to compress the bumper and be 100% certain.

I think about using a Rock Shox Superdeluxe Coil with 230x65mm. Are there new expieriences if 230x65 would damage the frame or makes problems?
