Santa Cruz bullit (2).jpg

Having a blast on this bike. My initial impressions - great frame, geometry, components, its fast & fun! Issues - the rattle, & figuring out the right settings to get the best range from the 630w battery whilst not loosing too much support. Did a first ride vid that you can view if you want to, which has some Skydio2 drone footage on one of the amazing trails in Scotland. The YouTube link is:

Would love to hear other views.

I agree the geometry on the Bullit is awesome! (for me at least)
I just love riding the Bullit more and more and i always felt at home since day one (coming from a Nomad 4 that, lately, just sits in the garage).
One of the things that kind of surprised me and made me really happy, is how good the Bullit jumps.
I see no jumps in your video, but believe me... the Bullit loves jumping and that made me happy

Very nice. Santa Cruz builds good stuff, and their service is top notch. I chose the Heckler, which is well suited for what I do, but I think the Bullit is a better value considering the better fork and shock. Have fun with her.

U.K.
My respect for the Bullit grows every ride. I bought it taking a risk I’d progress my skills on it. It’s paying off. Sure, another great bike would no doubt do the same, but there’s nothing like a bit of subjective reflection!

Like you I come from an N4, Bullit’s very similar but in electrified form. I finds it’s a bit smoother rear suspension (although I upgraded my Nomad with Vorsprung custom tune) and I appreciate the Fox 38 added burliness up front. Love both bikes but at 70 years I’m riding the Bullit a lot more.
