Run the bike in the high setting. 1cm higher bb do a lot. 64,5 HA is plenty slack.

I found running in the high setting to be fine in terms of clearance, it still feels mightily slack too.

Had my first ride on my new Reign E +1. My first proper EMTB. Had cheap Chinese EBikes before and have a Super73 in the garage. This is a very different beast obviously. Love it.
I have the same pedal grounding issues that others have had so may need to address that. I also find it’s quite easy to knock the control unintentionally whilst riding. Yeah I thought that would be the best route. Also I’ll flip the chip once I’ve worked out how to do that (all very new to me). How do I know if it’s in the high or low setting? *Newbie alert*

exactly. high setting, not too much sag, dial in some low speed compression, half way closed, use firm pedal switch on flatter trails. it's definitely not a trail bike, more of a 'winch and plummet' style bike.

Pretty sure this is the low setting.
I've had no issues with this however I'm used to pretty low and slack bikes in general being a park rat.

I'm in the low setting and agree it's got the feel of a dh rig that can shuttle itself.
Every one of my mates that has sat on it has said feels big.
It reminds me of my downhill bike from 2006 weight wise (that thing was 22 ish kilos,) and as to how it feels but it's vastly more versatile and no doubt faster as I've slayed every strava at the bike park with it turned off!
Has me wondering what a mullet non motorized Enduro bike with similar geo would do down the hill..........
Bearing in mind I'm coil rear so it will be more plush/ linear than with x2.
I recently went from x2 to coil in my dh bike and transformed the bike for the better so did the same on mine before leaving the shop so can't compare in this instance but loving it all the same.

First ride out on it yesterday after having it for over 6 weeks.

which coil did you go to? I run onlins on my other bike and love the feel of it over air. Am very tempted for this bike also.

Checked the progression of the maestro linkage and its border line for coil but seems to work well.
I'm 82kg running 400lb spring and it's only bottomed out once but that was a pretty big step-down and all my bikes do on that one.

Hhhmmmm tempting. The progressiveness was something I’d heard about as to wether a coil would work. Most importantly coils look better

So I see a few comments about the new PWX3 Motor and the fact that it likes Cadence to provide full assistance. question for those who have tried a few: I have a 2018 Focus Jam2 with the Shimano E8000 motor. My wife has a Liv 2019 with the PWX2 motor. The support on the PWX2 is quite noticeable at lower cadence compared to the E8000. Not an issue to me as I am an ex "Roadie" and like to spin at quite high cadence. Has anyone had/got an E8000 and now has a PWX3 to compare at what cadence the assistance kicks in? Will I find the assistance harder to hit on the PWX3, or as an E8000 rider will I find it similar? Cheers for your replies, Mac

I have ridden a few but not owned any other but will say this much as I'm unable to out a number on it.
It's very easy to find the sweet spot with cadence and it's not that high.
More like one gear lower than you'd expect, nothing drastic.
It does fall off the ball of you try grunt up steeps in big gears also but it's very easy to tell when your below or above its happy place

The support comes in at very low cadence, and still has a little bit of the nervous motor when resting food on the pedal, support comes in as soon as you start pedalling. It is very natural feeling, and easier to control. The support is more similar to Bros/specialized, but power-levels 3 and 4 feels less powerful than the same level on PWX2 because it starts smoother, unless you push it, then you have good assistance at Candance where the old motor went flat (higher cadence and load).
The Shimano makes at least double the noise compared to he PWX3.

There is a new update for the controller. You can now customise the buttons and yes you can set smart assist to one of those. And yes it works.

Waiting on my 2. The fork crown looks fatter than other Zebs I've seen. Are these coming with ebike 1.8 tapered steerer forks? Has anyone measured to confirm?
