Hi guys, I ask you for advice, I want to put a multi tool in the fox 38. I wrote to OneUp and unfortunately I can't put EDC lite because my fox measures less than 22cm. I was thinking of putting the SWAT conceal, but I would like your advice, what do you use? What do you recommend?

Not really answering your question, but as I run a Garmin mounted on the top cap I decided to use the One-up pump and multi-tool combo on the bottle cage. Was thinking of trying something different on the Giant but will probably end up with the same. Pump and tool both work really well.

I think this is a clean solution but there a chance it won't fit because of the width of the down tube. I love to fettle and hate multitools. So I use a topeak mini ratchet and absolutely love it.

I bought a One-up large EDC pump, it fits nicely by the frame and is pretty tucked away because of the battery bulge, not a bad solution and a bit more versatile if you have multiple bikes and want to swap it between frames, you just need extra pump mounts.

Arrived a day early :) nice surprise.

So its a size large with 625Wh battery and it is tipping my bathroom scales at 25.3kg with no pedals. It has inner tubes right now so may lose a few grams when it goes tubeless.

Compared to my Rail 7 with a 170mm Zeb, bottle cage, pump mount and Oneup aluminium pedals (and a decent bit of dry mud) which comes in at 25.5kg.

The Trek also has one tube in the back because the rear wheel is so beat up that tubeless wont seal. So overall weight wise, I dont think I will really notice a difference.

Just sitting on the Giant it feels remarkably similar ergonomically to the Trek. With the seat height set correct the distance from the contact point on the seat to the center of the bar is pretty much the same. However, with the two bikes side by side the Giant just looks... well kind of Giant. Obviously the wheelbase is a bit longer but the downtube looks like it could fit the whole Trek in there, its pretty huge.

I am looking forward to putting some pedals on this thing and taking it for a spin. That reminds me, I need to order some pedals.

For some reason I convinced myself that this had a 220mm front disk but of course it doesnt. I have a couple of Magura 220mm discs that I was going to put on the Trek. I may donate one or both of those to the Giant.

Im looking forward to seeing how this thing rides but the weather here is pretty sucky right now so I think it may be staying warm and clean for a little while.

E+1 or E+0 ?

You must be an Giant. Those Bikes are so large. I switched to an M because it has almost the same reach, wheelbase, stack...... than an L size Levo.
Looking forward to your review.

I await your review, I am also very curious to know if you have any problems using it in your humid / wet climate or washing it, I have read that I do worry a little

But effective top tube is way shorter on M size Reign compared to size L Levo (594 vs 631). Steep seat tube angle and slack head tube angle make the Reign look a big bike.

I used the orig. cable and Lever on my OneUp 180. Plug and play and works perfect.
Great thanks. I was wondering if the giant gear had proprietary connections or something but if it’s just connect and drop in it saves on hassle. Got a fox factory dropper that would look and perform better than the stock giant I’m assuming.
