Awesome Dad of the Pandemic. This is trully social distancing at it's best and spending time with your kid having fun in nature. Great job. so encouraging .
That’s brilliant Kary but you need to get your lad on a bike of his own. My son is 23 and has DS. He’s got a Trek PF7 small with 27.5” wheels, it’s really tiny compared to my XL. He hates the thing but once on it he’ll go for miles. We regularly ride 20+ miles on canal tie paths etc. He’s had some spills but nothing serious.

We abandoned this a couple of years ago. It was a bit finicky and the assist was more of an on/off feeling, not very natural. We went to an actual e-tandem built for us by Cycles Chinook out of New Hampshire. This bike is awesome. It uses a Bosch motor with twin batteries. This picture is from our 5 day tour through the Black Hills this summer on the Mickelson trail.Wondering if the conversion has worked well over time.
