That's my point, I can now run any pressure I want with the air liners. I was on 2.8 magic Mary's, but since swapping over to 2.6 magic mary dh I was still clipping the rims but with no damage, I have now put air liners into them too.

Hi,
Still interested to know what psi you were running in the 2.6 MM DH?

I've just put a Nukeproof ARD insert in my back wheel - the Huck Norris I had in there previously worked well in my manual bike, but didn't save my eBike carbon rim.

I wonder if the Huck Norris can move sideways in a 2.6 tyre when it's squashed nearly flat, which would leave one edge of the rim vulnerable - the ARD sits quite tight in the rim well, so hopefully it will stay in place better.

Have an update;

I'm still running the original Ratbite and it's holding up well, even after several multi-mile rides back to the car after slashing sidewalls on rocks.
Does it work? I suspect it does but have no way of proving it.
