One of my local trails took a battering with water in July. Only 30 mtrs but barriers in place and no sign of repairs happening. Folk are walking up and down it now and odd cyclist. Still loads of trees down from Arwen just cleared the roads they have to for access. OngoingUnfortunately it’s a little more than hike a bike on the trail huge tree completely blocked it
I never thought that would be rideable after storm arwen whole area was destroyed about 6 trails
But amazing that they cleared and reopened one of them only for weekend storm to bring more trees down 🫣 and undo their work. Hope it doesn’t stop them in future
Forestry were there clearing trees across the fireroads and did give me a look when I pulled up
but didn’t say anything
They’ve already deforested loads of thrunton due to Arwen but that’s ending now with what’s left being left to regenerate itselfOne of my local trails took a battering with water in July.
