Out with the boys Tuesday evening. Lovely balmy weather, I could take that all year round.

On old mining road along the Sheep river, Alberta.
One thing i really like about my ebike is that it allows me to ride to areas that would be hard (for an old man) to get to on my analog bike. It was a 55km, 1250m elevation gain, loop to go to the Sheep river. Beautiful area.

In the past I was frequently in AB and a big fan of that part of the world!

Decent spin out Shoreham today. Out of curiosity, anyone using Motorola phones & Strava encountering problems with the GPS dropping out? I've had three rides in a row now where the trace just disappears mid ride, it's begnning to grate or at least it would if I knew where I was.

I went with my mates to Antur Stiniog as part of a two-day outing. The first day was great but I made the mistake of not checking what sort of bike park Antur Stiniog was! There was me on my light trail bike, 32mm stanchions, 130mm travel on a Downhill bike park! I struggled on the blues! One of my buddies who I had always seen as of a similar skill to me, had borrowed a proper DH bike and had it in the back of his car (sneaky bastard!) He struggled with the reds! That was about 9 years ago.

We really like the place, although I was quite fatigued today from all the rocky terrain. Taking a big slam on my chest on my 2nd run this morning didn’t help either 😀

Love those rims! Just got the standard Landmark rims on mine with Grabbers. Mine's a Commercial, but currently full of tools for my job. Did have a D5 - kept it for 18months/32,000 miles and sold it back to JLR for the same money I bought it for brand new. Lovely motor and engine, but the D4 is a better workhorse/off road vehicle

Nice one - I sold my RRS for mine. It’s loads better for a work horse!
