Don't know why that elevation gain should come as a bit of a surprise as along with the slightly moist conditions ( ๐Ÿ˜‚) my legs still don't feel as if they belong this morning..but it does ..
I feel Iโ€™m wearing my lungs on the outside, But Jacoโ€ฆ.he must be Steve Austinโ€™s great grandad ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Be great if we knew which way we were going to fall . I broke both ankles at different times in differant sporting accidents . Ribs 2 years ago could have been really nasty the way I fell . But considering the amount of years I have been cycling I've been lucky. I will say this though since I've had ebike. Just under four years and about 8000miles . I have fell off it or had silly little slips more times than all my other bikes put together. Rant over.

Clandeboy, Bangor N Ireland a couple of hours ago.

Mild, muddy and marvellous 18 mile pootle. Trails are a weird mixture of bone dry, waterlogged and muddy as feck. But as usual they make for a grand day out!

No big sticky bun today as weโ€™re having an Indian takeaway later and I wanted to leave room for a pakora starter.๐Ÿ˜€

Big balls mtb trail or run of the mill paragliding take off. It's all a matter of perspective I reckon. ๐Ÿ˜€

Glasshouse Mts - Australia

Dawn ride around the Glasshouse Mountains last Saturday, with 33C temps forecast I tried to beat the heat. Ended up doing 47km in 3 hours, it was mixed terrain with a bit of tarmac roads, gravel forestry tracks, deep sand in places and some awesome single track that I haven't ridden before. All near my house, I think 15km would have been the furthest away I got all morning. Who needs a gravel bike and lycra with a coffe shop stop at the end to put in some decent mileage.

Got the old girl o.n the operating table. Spank vibrocore bars & new tan wall pirellis. View attachment 109567 View attachment 109568
I once again experienced rather significant hand numbness today after about 10 miles to the point where I couldnโ€™t feel controls. Turned around but the ten miles back wasnโ€™t much fun. Is this why you got these bars? If so Iโ€™d love to hear some real world experiemces rather than rely on testimonials on their website.
