I got out on the analogue last night to test how bad my fitness was since being an ebiker for a year now.
Turns out, not too bad.

The biggest scotch egg i'd ever seen, apparently it was a venison one and he made all sorts of gooey noises eating it.

A deer laying a giant egg (“apparently it was a venison one…”): new to me😎 But then one of the early entries in Wikipedia was all about rabbit eggs…. That author posts about Covid and Trump these days🤣🤣🤣

Evening ride in the Doña Ana Mountains, part of the Organ Mountains Desert Peaks National Monument. Las Cruces, NM, USA. It was a good ride until I noticed the front tire had gone flat a 1/2 mile from the parking lot. Easier to hike out than try and fix it trailside at that distance.

I always image these places littered with the shallow graves of dead drug dealers or hookers!

You suck etoni! Stop posting those pics or you'll end up with a tribe of frothing emtbers knocking on your door.
Is this your hoemtown or is it a tourist spot or both?
About the trails - do you drive up to them or ride from town & if so what elevation are they.
How long are your typical rides up there?

Strawberry Peak Loop: One of the best rides in Socal.

Dark patch of buildings off in the distance is Downtown Los Angeles. The tallest building is just over a thousand feet tall. Despite the millions of people down in the flatlands, few people venture onto this trail.
IMG_3293.jpeg

The trail is narrow, steep, loose, off camber, with a lot of exposure.

Strawberry is the highest peak in the front range, at 6,147 feet.

The climb out.
