I try not to ride too far from home. These pics are in my backyard where Burke Mountian, BC is. There’s only 70 trails that are mapped and they are either loam or large marbles. Once the snow melts more trails appear. A few riders who have emtb venture to the top but it’s rare to see a regular MTB at the upper levels. Almost every mountain here has trails so I don’t think I could ride all of them in my lifetime. The Sawblade is a frequent destination. The fog rises but makes great pics. And stumps are probably only interesting to me (retired Westcoast Faller, (tree-cutter).

Oh man! Put the tube in place and go for a ride. Never trust a postman :p
I checked with Royal Mail and they reported that the supplier, Bike Tart, had posted it to them early Sat morning and was still saying that the following Thu. I rang Bike Tart and they gave me an apology and a full refund inc postage. Royal Mail admitted they had received it but had lost track of it. I rang my LBS Newark Cycles and he said that he didn't have any rim tape for sale but he had some in the workshop and would fit it while I waited. He did a quick job that also looked good. When it came time to pay, he said no charge! I insisted that he take a fiver. Nice guys there (Jack and Roger).
