Irie.
Having just agreed with me that the direction of the wind is TO the South West ..you then go on to contradict what you've agreed with ..
I must admit it's the first time I've come across that particular chart ..but then again I'm not a sailor ..and to a non-sailor it's very confusing ..
If it says that the wind "Direction" is South West then safe to say that most folk would agree that is the way the wind is blowing ..

A much clearer method is the one which the Met Office uses which quotes the direction from where the wind originates..with the arrow pointing in the direction in which it is travelling ...

I'll stick to the above method ..and leave your confusing chart to you sailors ..

The arrow is a guide to show folk where SW is. A bit misleading.

OK Mr.Squint ..please see the last sentence and note the word " to"..then below your green tick ..which denotes the fact that you have agreed with what I have written..
Unless of course that means the complete opposite to you sailors

..also far from being in denial I'm in complete agreement with the way The Met Office report wind direction as stated in my previous post ..which if you hadn't been in such a rush to reply you may well have seen ..

Here's what the Met Office today forecasts for a location near you I think? You'd better call the Met Office and tell them they've got their graphics wrong. Good luck.

You really don't read anything at all do you in your haste to prove how clever you are( not!) ..
I've already said earlier ..if you cared to look that the Met Office has a much clearer app ..and is the one that I use when checking weather, wind strength & direction ..
To be honest I've wasted enough time on a complete bore like yourself ..so go ahead and enjoy your knitting / crosswords/ jigsaw or whatever else fills in your day ..
