I'm working out where to get the best colours this year. Glen Affric gets mention by the forestry commision . Hill walk or cycle round Glen Affric one day . And a paddle round the Loch Affric islands the next day. Plus a bonus night on my own in the camper with nobody saying your not having another whisky are you.

Yep, those hills certainly do look pretty flat.

Living in old 1635ish building I got to say its myth, spiders seem to not be bothered by them.
Now we have a couple of these guys though, although my cat seems to be doing his best in keeping the grey squirrel population down locally.

Ordered this well equipped Rossignol emtb this spring and I am shocked there is no buzz about this great value offering! I guess they aren’t doing the paid promotion thing so no one is reviewing it. 
Yes need to be out by 11 am up here in the dead of winter if you want a decent run . Dark by 3

Quick easy ride out today, intended to keep it clean / road miles today but that didn't last.
Into the woods it was then.
carried on into the park
and had a stroll around the lake

Summer continues here in Vancouver with temperatures hitting 25 degrees with barely any rain for months. The conditions remain super dry and lose which is the best way to piss off @Crash Logan when it comes to riding new trails. We saw this trail (Mow It Down) on Trailforks on Burke Mtn. and thought it sounded interesting. It did have several unique features on it but very little flow!
Something bit different. One of my riding crew was burgled last night & had two high end bikes stolen. A dark green 2021 Spesh Levo SL & a 2021 dark red Spesh Epic from their house in Worthing. Grateful to Sussex people here who see these anywhere around or for sale online.
Horrible that. Two lads looking at me on my bike yesterday I did think why they were looking definitely not cycle types , paranoia setting in . Dare I say not much thieving in my area , small town probably hard to sell on .
Conditions are dry…too dry. There’s no sticktion on the trails and the weather is hot (28*), for us.

Not the epic views that I see on here sometimes …but @KnollyBro might know this trail. Smokey in the valley.

Hey, were you guys camped out by the gun club (Burke/Harper Rd.)for a few days? I saw a couple of Knolly’s hanging on a camper but they weren’t eMTB’s.

I agree wholeheartedly with you! Terrible ride yesterday even on one of my favorite trails, Red R..so sketchy right now! Never thought I would be saying “I miss the rain”

Wasn’t us.
We rode Burke yesterday but just drove in for a few hours.
Hmmm? That camper was there for a few days.Wasn’t us.
Red-R going down is about my limit. 15-18% grade to get there. Definitely nice to have an eMTB.
After a day of frustration riding with @Crash Logan on our dry trails, we took an opportunity to ride around our area and lean my bike against some of our iconic landscapes.

Near Crawfordsburn, N Ireland a wee while ago.
Very wet and slippy in places but other than that it was perfect riding conditions and yet another grand day out.
