I recently had professionally fitted a dropper post, KS Suspension LEV Dropper Seat Post Black 27.2 x 405mm 100mm, on to my Orbea ALMA 27 H30 15 BLK-BLU WITH SERIAL 01130163602 but it does not come down enough because there is not enough space inside the tube. My problem is that seat post for the dropper needs to sit further down and the bolts for the water bottle are on the way which means I can't lower the seat post any further. My question is if I remove the bolts and the threaded lug inside the tube that hold the screws will I be able to lower the post or is there something else inside the tube that would not let me drop the seat post? Surely there must be a way around this? Love to know if any of you experience the same issue and manage to solve this. I have contacted Orbea and all they were able to say is that the new Alma has build cable for the dropper post by my version does not.
Thanks for sharing.

You could have the set tube reamed which will remove any obstruction in it (if it an alloy frame), but will of course void the warranty - its not an EBIKE? If so this may be the wrong forum to ask as I doubt nay owners of that bike on here.

Thanks for the tip any idea who can do that sort of job within the Bristol area?
