Bought a pair of Giro riddance the other week as my feet were slipping off with my Merrel knockabout shoes. Bit of a waste of money really apart from looking flasher they weren't any grippier & absolute death traps on anything wet.
May have to change my pedal pins to something sharper - ouch my shins are complaining already :)
Should have gone with the 5-10 as they by all reviews are grippy but rip a lot on the bottom.

What pedals are you using? Might be worth going to something with a narrower pin?

I have Specialized 2SFO's and they don't play well with my crank brothers, but on my One Up pedals they stick like nothing else - the one ups have narrower pins than the crank brothers

I have shoes that match my pedals that match the bike, was hard to muddy them up but I got over it real quick.

What stand are you using and do you have a link ? I made mine from wood and it works just not very stable. If you look close to my photo you’ll see it.

ive got freerider, freerider contact and spitfires, the freerider and spitfires are so confortable i would wear them as an everyday trainer.
The freerider contact, well there’s no doubt they are grippy on flatsbut if you have to get off the bike for any reason be careful as they don’t offer much in the way of grip for traversing any uneven ground. Ive been on my arse more than a few times in these.
