Good review of the Decoy 29 pro on MBR out today: YT Decoy Pro 29: first ride review - MBR

The E8000 motor was the only knock they had on it. I haven't tried the latest Bosch or Brose motors, but I'm actually very happy with the E8000. Seems plenty powerful for my use... and I ride it pretty hard too.

I agree and I'm quite satisfied with the e8000. e8000 is a bit louder than the Brose but performs quite well - even better following the recent E-steps update.

I'm so glad I put my Decoy 29 order in a few weeks ago before this sudden rash of Decoy 29 unboxing and first-ride videos!
It will certainly exacerbate the already-long lead-times for these puppies.
