Staying in box until the Kiox controller arrives - hopefully tomorrow. Don't want to ride it with the Purion as I know I will damage it.

Have decided for my backup bike I could live with an alloy frame. Can't really justify a couple more - or $3k to $4K realistically for another CF bike.

Well, that was a short ownership.
After about 3.5km I was heading back to the trail start to return it to the dealer for a refund.
After breaking a couple vertabrae twice I can't wear a backpack without seriously overheating due to nerve damage. This bike has bosses for a bottle, but even my short bottle touches the frame. Tried attaching a cage top mount with a strap around the bottom, but the way the suspension works is rocker style so that would not work either. Real shame as I had updraded the display to Kiox before even riding the bike.
Guess I will be stuck with just the Tuned for a while as the Scott Patron just does not look right to me, and I sure as hell don't want a bike 3kg more than what I am already riding.
