Just a quick heads up... I've been looking around for tyre sealant and whilst expensive, the Muc-off gets really good reviews. Evans Cycles have 1 litre bottles for £22 but on a buy one get one free, so if you're in the market, it becomes decent value @ 2 litre for £22 plus delivery.

I have been through 4 or 5 litres of muc off and finally given up on it. Refuses to seal the tiniest of pin holes and seems to leak through at the bead too. Having looked online, I'm not the only one either. Pity, it's easy to use though. Gone back to stans race.

I'm currently running orange seal in my hoops, however I'm looking to swap, to remove the latex.

The dealer coverted mine to tubeless when I purchased it, I asked which sealant they used - they said Muc Off.

I then converted the other halfs tyres to Tubeless so tried the Muc Off on hers.

So far its been really good. The tyres lose a little pressure over time and need to be topped with air, and I've pulled quite a few hawthorn spikes out of mine and they've always sealed. Overall I'm happy with it and the way it performs.

I tried the Muc Off sealant in my winter road bike last year. I wanted to like it, as I use many of their other products and they’re a client of ours at work, but it refused to seal 3 out of 3 times, seems worse in the wet, so again went back to Stans. It may well be better at lower pressure MTB use, have been reluctant to try.

Continental Revo Sealant. It is a white latex type sealant and is claimed to be formulated for Continental tyres, hence the name. I have used it on Maxxis, Mavic and Specialized tyres as well as Contis and it performs well on them all. (y)
