Hi Folks,
I'm getting a really annoying clicking, now turning into creaking, from my Reign. It's only under pedalling, in our out of saddle. Have checked and lubed everywhere I can think of, and the only conclusion I am left with is that it is the motor mounting bolts/points with the frame.
Does anyone have a diagram or similar of which bolts are the mounting ones? I can see 4 bit Torx bolts that I figure must be at least some of them, but unsure if there are more and where they are/how to access.
The clicking started last year when my motor was replaced by my LBS, and after a week in the alps this summer has gotten quite a lot worse.
I'd like to loosen the bolts off, clean the threads and grease the contact points. If there is thread lock I'd add a bit of that too.
Any other guidance or watch outs appreciated.
FYI, areas already diagnosed/fixed/swapped out over the last 9 months: saddle rails, seat post, collar, headset, forks, brake mounts, wheels, UDH/mech, bars, stem, spider lockring, chainring bolts, cranks, pedals... I think thats it, hence my ending up at mounting bolts.
