I have just purchased a new crafty R.

The back brakes are very intermittent,At times there is no feel on back brake,You need to keep pumping it for a while to get a bit of feel in it? Even then it just starts bitting near enough when lever is fully in? Is there anyway of sorting this/adjusting them so more bite nearer the start of level?

Thanks

On my Crafty R; I installed Magura mt7 brakes. Wow what an upgrade. But to your question, when this happens to me it seems always to relate to contamination of the pads or rotor due to cassette cleaning . Just a thought

I replaced everything. My stock brakes on the Crafty R were not that good compared to the Maguras. It is a costly upgrade but to date my best upgrade

Hi there,
Does your Crafty have the larger integrated battery or removal smaller one?
I'm looking to replace the rear brake hose AND swap it across so it exists the top RH port - so it's cleaner to run the rear on the left hand brake (UK/Aus/NZ/Moto style).
Access is a pig and the battery will have to be dropped I'm guessing, whihc means motor drop too!
Thanks!
