Anyone got pics of their Levo in the back of a Ford Focus 5dr hatch back?

Thinking of selling my Audi estate as its getting long in the tooth and fancy a hot hatch again like in my 20's (Escort RS Turbo's were my fav)

Looking at a Focus ST3 and the boot opening looks narrow and wondered if a Levo would fit in the back with the seats down?

Towbar or roof mounting are not an option for me, bike has to go in the car with front wheel only removed

So has anyone got some pics?

I used to fit my large fat ebike into the back of a Focus, but I did take the wheels off and used these wheel bags to transport them, which is great after a muddy ride, (as well as a decorators lined dust sheet to avoid water/damp getting on the interior). I notice you said front wheel off only but if you've got a Sram DR it's easy to remove the back wheel.

I've just found this picture of my previous hardtail fatty, which fitted with only the front wheel off, but it was fork in first and then handlebar would stick through between the seats over the centre storage/arm rest by about 8 inches

I've got a Mk7 Golf. My previous Cube fitted fine in the old Mk 5 Golf but was more of a struggle for some reason in the new car.

The 2020 Turbo Levo, being longer, became a real struggle leaving the back wheel on so now I take both wheels off which is far easier.

Put it on the smallest cog first, put pipe insulation on the bars and whip upside down. The SRAM derailleur is great because of the button to hold it open. Rear wheel just pops out easily without having to touch the chain unlike the XT mech on the Cube which was a dirty messy affair. Front wheel pops out and then the whole thing is so much lighter to lift into the car, even more so if you have kept the battery out. For 30 seconds or so extra effort I wouldn't go back to trying to load it in with the rear wheel now.

I bet it will but I'd be surprised if you can do it without pushing the passenger seat forward to a greater or lesser degree. With my Golf it has to go fully forward. I ride with someone who has an (08?) Focus and a TL but don't know how his fits - will ask. New Focus may be bigger.

Didn't have my glasses on & I was sure it said,

LOVE IN THE BACK OF A FORD FOCUS

Dyslexia could also be a problem.

Cheers for all the replies

So Ive now got the car and my Large Expert fits quite well

Ive got a hatchback liner on order from the Hatch bag company that will cover all the seats and the bumper, just need to sort something out to protect the rear passenger door from the forks (some pipe lagging should work) and the same for the bars near the passenger seat
