2026 Specialized Turbo Levo
2026 Specialized Turbo Levo, featuring three battery options, a lightweight Stumpjumper-inspired frame, Genie shock, adjustable geometry, and a powerful S-Works motor with 120Nm torque. Experience a more efficient, versatile, and high-performance eMTB.www.mountainbikescanada.com
The key information from this article “Rumour: 2026 Specialized Turbo Levo. A Beefier SL Version”:
Motor System
- Specialized will no longer use the Brose motor and has instead developed its own proprietary motor.
- The new motor design is inspired by the Levo SL, with significantly reduced drag when the motor is off, offering a more natural pedaling experience.
- Two motor options are expected:
- A powerful S-Works-only motor delivering 120Nm of torque, designed for aggressive riding and steep climbs.
- A standard motor option with slightly less torque (exact figures not yet released), but still capable for most trail scenarios.
Battery System
- The 2026 Turbo Levo will feature three different battery options.
- This gives riders the flexibility to choose based on the type of ride—larger batteries for longer range or smaller ones for a lighter setup.
- The modular battery setup allows swapping batteries depending on ride length or terrain.
Frame and Design
- The new frame design is influenced by the Levo SL and the latest Stumpjumper.
- It is more streamlined, lighter, and aesthetically refined compared to previous versions.
- The redesign focuses on agility and responsiveness, enhancing the riding experience especially on technical terrain.
Suspension: Genie Shock
- The 2026 model introduces the Genie shock, an advanced suspension system.
- It adapts to terrain and rider input to deliver a smoother, more controlled ride.
- Described as having a "coil-like" feel.
- Adjustable geometry allows customization for different riding styles and trail conditions.
Weight
- The 2026 Turbo Levo is expected to be lighter than the predecessor
- The combination of a lighter frame, efficient motor, and battery setup contributes to improved handling and performance.
- Despite the weight reduction, the bike retains the premium feel associated with the Specialized brand.
Ouch. That’s more than in the US. What’s weird is the Trek’s new Rail is more here. I don’t get European pricing.Retail in Europe

Similar like Gen 3 before discounts, so Expert could be around 9500€ and Comp 7000-7500€, I will probably skip gen 3 comp and buy Comp Carbon G4 or S works frameset.Retail in Europe

Does "frameset" include the motor?S works frameset.
Does "frameset" include the motor?
Thanks. So I guess it's cheaper to do it this way.yes...
If it still has a rear mech, then it is not really “outside of the box”I gotta keep my trap shut about it but I’ve now seen pics and got to hear about the specs. The S Works is going to absolutely change the industry. Many of the recent predictions about the power and battery sizes are close enough, if not 100% correct, but you guys are not thinking outside the box enough. Specialized is really coming out swinging this time….and that moc up pic is pretty accurate. The bike looks good.
That's exactly what it is ! If it was an internal gearbox, it would be inside the box .. it's hanging off the rear like an orangutangs testicles, so it's 100% "outside of the box" ..If it still has a rear mech, then it is not really “outside of the box”
I'm sure if someone takes the time to photoshop @Myke's turd coloured bowling ball over my shoddy mockup, it will look amazing ??????I've had my 2020 levo expert since the end of 2019 and I'm about ready to get a new bike. I just need to decide what to buy.
I might be able to afford the frameset, but I hope it looks better than zims mockup![]()
Yes the Gen 4 will accept a range extender, however the SL extender battery likely not compatible, The Gen 4 system is 48v and the Sl is 36v.Will the new Gen 4 Levo be able to use a battery range extender? If so, can we just use the SL battery range extender? I still have the SL battery range extender from when I had my Kenevo SL.
I see, thanks.Yes the Gen 4 will accept a range extender, however the SL extender battery likely not compatible, The Gen 4 system is 48v and the Sl is 36v.
After the initial release and fast chargers they will compliment the SWorks bike ( the extender) with the initial release the SWorks gets a 80% charge in 40 mins super fast charger insteadWill the new Gen 4 Levo be able to use a battery range extender? If so, can we just use the SL battery range extender? I still have the SL battery range extender from when I had my Kenevo SL.
Are you saying that the S Works has something, not counting a slight torque/power bump, that sets it apart from the rest of the model range? The S Works is going to absolutely change the industry. Specialized is really coming out swinging this time

because its ALWAYS WITH VAT. why do you americans always forget that!? geezOuch. That’s more than in the US. What’s weird is the Trek’s new Rail is more here. I don’t get European pricing.
So far I didn't read anything that sounded revolutionary. If only the S-Works would have a gearbox it would be kinda weird.I gotta keep my trap shut about it but I’ve now seen pics and got to hear about the specs.
