The thing I am most looking forward to is the modular battery.

I am riding a bike with a huge full size battery(800) opening on the whole bottom side of the downtube for the last 2 years, never ever had problems water getting in there in excess, what did, drained out where it's supposed to(drain hole at the bottom). You guys want a 800 battery and a downtube that looks like your cromo hardtail. ;P
There are trade offs and side load is another one. not crazy about the look but better to keep the lower part of the bike sealed and solid. At least one side looks clean.

Sorry but If someone at Spech had given more thought about battery building, a slim downtube is indeed possible, even with 840Wh.
and Imo the new Bullit is worth the wait![]()
So it’s not being launched on the 8th then.
I rode what is now mine yesterday. Around the car park, but ill take it. Given the time difference, cannot pick up till the 9th here.My bike is here…but can’t get it til tomorrow or Wednesday.
Well?????? How was itI rode what is now mine yesterday. Around the car park, but ill take it. Given the time difference, cannot pick up till the 9th here.
Since when SL comes with a 800wh+ battery??Of course it possible but without the removable battery and with no swat storage... Levo SL is the perfect example.
Surely this is a troll account? Well played sir well playedHi everyone,
As CEO of Specialized, I wanted to personally reach out to this passionate and knowledgeable community with an important update regarding the new Levo 4.
Today was meant to mark the official release of a bike we’ve been working on with tremendous care and excitement — the next leap forward in our Turbo Levo line. Unfortunately, due to recent geopolitical developments — specifically, new tariffs introduced under current U.S. trade policy — we’re forced to delay the release of the Levo 4 until the end of the year.
We know this isn’t the news anyone wanted to hear, and I assure you it’s not a decision we took lightly. These trade changes have created unexpected constraints on our supply chain, and rather than rush the process or compromise on quality, we’ve chosen to stay true to our standards and give this bike the launch it deserves.
What we can tell you for now: the Levo 4 is the most capable, intelligent, and rider-focused e-MTB we’ve ever built. It redefines integration, handling, and power delivery — and we believe it sets a new benchmark for trail performance.
To everyone here on EMTB Forums — your input, your passion, and your feedback continue to inspire and challenge us. Communities like this play a vital role in shaping the direction we take as a brand, and we’re grateful for your support and understanding during this unexpected delay.
We’ll share more details in the coming months. Until then, thank you for riding with us.
All the best,
CEO, Specialized
Well I put a deposit downWell?????? How was it![]()
2026 Santa Cruz Bullit.can someone direct me to the new santa cruz bullit thread? i only like to build up, guess, then complain, Thank you
My mistake, maybe I wasn't clear enough, the opening is over the whole bottom side of the downtube.Of course it possible but without the removable battery and with no swat storage... Levo SL is the perfect example.
it is - and for that reason, I'm outThanks! Can see it already follows same trends. Disappointment, people sharing their vala saying why they won’t update (no on asked), amflow.
If the bullet is 600wh same as vala it’s another no.
Let me spoil the surprise based on everything we have seen:Guess we will know in a few hours if there is anything revolutionary about the gen4 or if it's just bike hype by a struggling industry. Will be keen to see a few reviews by testers.
