Some are saying there’s 2 travel options, one being a longer travel version with closer to Kenevo rear travel. I think Spesh is trying to replace two bikes in one go, the outgoing gen 3 and the discontinued Kenevo.Amazing job from Specialized keeping the info to themselves till now !
However there were some repeating details from this thread that could indicate some things like :
150mm rear travel
Not a Brose motor
800w + battery (with maybe an option for a smaller one)
Levo sl style frame
same weight as today +-
Been waiting for this bike for some time now but the 150mm rear disqualifies the bike from being a contender for 2025.
Looking got 160+ and the current leading options are the Wild and new E-riot by Ghost (for some reason not alot of new options with that travel).
Waiting to next month to make a decision with a slim hope for the bike's reveal with added travel.
Sound like a good way to save production money if one frame can be customized to fit different use. Some are saying there’s 2 travel options, one being a longer travel version with closer to Kenevo rear travel. Needs to learn how to set up a cockpit. Look at the stem and steerer spacers. Long negative rise stem with a lot of spacers. The spacers shorten the reach and rase the bars. The negative long stem lowers the bars and increases the reach. Just get a short stem and loose the spacers and the bars are in the same place without adding a lot of stuff that will flex.I'm pretty sure the guy on the bike is a Specialized sales rep for Northern California.......
Hard to tell if there is a sidebar like the gen 3 levo?
Picture was taken this week, & he was riding with others on full powerd ebikes.

So is his late summer released prediction. Feb. 25 is still winter.updated rail doesn't have side loaded battery...so this is little confusing...
Kind of like what Crestline has done. Same front triangle and 2 different options for the rear triangle/ linkage. Some are saying there’s 2 travel options, one being a longer travel version with closer to Kenevo rear travel. Crestline made it even easier, no need to change linkages or the rear triangle. It’s based off of a 230x65 shock, you get 161mm travel with the flip chip in ST or 182mm travel with it in LT. You want less travel? Reduce the shock down to 230x62.5 and you’ll get 172mm with the flip chip in LT or 151mm with it in ST. It doesn’t get any easier than that!Kind of like what Crestline has done. Absolutely! Although I was never a Santa Cruz fan, the Vala is currently my Plan B in case I don't like the Levo G4...Also after watching this I am really starting to like the Bosch Gen5 more and more. And the Vala.

Sounds even better than I thought. Crestline HQ is 2.5 hrs north of me and my LBS across the street from where I work, has them in stock.Crestline made it even easier, no need to change linkages or the rear triangle. Except there is a different rear triangle per wheel size.Crestline made it even easier, no need to change linkages or the rear triangle. Disregard my reply, I misread your reply to say frame size instead of wheel size! You are 100% correct.Except there is a different rear triangle per wheel size.
Isn’t that what I just said? Last time I checked, there are only two different wheel sizes, just like you pointed out.Except there isn’t. There are only 27.5 and 29 rear triangles based on their store page to give users the flexibility to swap between MX and 29er. I’m assuming they have different pivot locations on the main frame for the different frame sizes. Same thing that Santa Cruz does and probably some others with one piece rear triangles to keep manufacturing costs down.
